Patient Quality of Life

Disability, being associated with poor quality of life, is a common,
damaging, and false assumption among health care providers. In a 2021
study, over 80% of physicians rated quality of life as worse for people with
disabilities compared to those without. Only a little more than 40% felt very
confident about providing the same quality of care to patients with
disabilities.
